I started as a sparkie.
What I learned there I never lost — businesses run on flows. Energy, information, money, decisions.
Circuits you can actually see, if you know how to read them. Most owners feel the symptoms — overload, breakdowns, things running hot — but they can't see the wiring underneath.
After the tools, I took a COO seat. Then a CEO chair. Picked up an MBA somewhere in the middle. What I noticed at every level was the same thing: the businesses that worked and the ones that didn't were running different patterns. Most owners couldn't see it. I couldn't see it either, until I'd been there long enough.
What I saw repeating across hundreds of businesses wasn't a strategy problem. It wasn't a people problem. It was a pattern problem — five structural patterns running every business, every time, whether the owner could see them or not. Get the pattern right, the next phase compounds. Get it wrong, scaling makes the problem worse.
So I built the diagnostic. Then the framework. Then the body of work.
That work is now Business Pattern Science — a named discipline, not advice. The book lays it out. The Pattern Disruption Index™ measures it. Business Alchemy is where I apply it.
If you've outgrown advice and you're ready to see the wiring underneath your business, that's what I do.
